Rafting down South Fork of Snoq. River

Marilyse and I rafted down South Fork of Snoq. River on 9/9. What a blast - lots of sun and tons of wildlife along the river, including a troll under a bridge! :P
Departure from Riverbend Park to where NB Way goes over South Fork (near the "Poor House"). A little over 4 miles. Water was low, some parts we had to drag boat over rocks. We had a puncture on outer shell of raft, but survived the whole way on the two inner shells.

Click on this title to see gmap route. We averaged about a mile an hour, including breaks and walking the boat!

I am working on getting some aqua vids up on it soon..... (It's now the top vid on left side bar)

Sweet! How long did it take you? How did you get back home?

About 4 hours going down the river and 10 minutes back home! I shuttled cars, drove car to North Bend Way Bridge, then ran home along river trail. Then drove other car to River Bend Park.
I'd like to do it again when River is a little higher. :P

Sweet video dude. Almost psychedelic. Makes me want to go for a swim. Just broke my record for my 4 mile trail out and back. Just under 32 minutes. Now I'm ready to go running with you.... :)
