Mt Si Relay

I signed up for Mt Si Relay Ultra 50 Mile Run (04/13/08). I'll at least start it, whether I finish it is another story.... I setup paypal donation button for my run and recovery FWIW (I am running for whirled peas). :P Here are some of the details:

2008 Ultra Event informationThe name Mt Si Ultra is a little misleading. You run at the base of Mt Si,
not up it! There will be both a 50 Km and 50 Mile run this year.
The 50 Km course is 90 % on trail with 900 feet of elevation gain and 650
feet of loss. There will be one full aid station and four mini food/water
stations. The 50 Km run starts at 9:00AM at the 19 mile location of the 50 Mile
course. Shuttle service from the finish to the start line will be available
starting at 8:00am. The 50 Mile course is 90% on trail with 1100 feet of
elevation gain and 1100 feet of loss. There will be three full aid stations and
six mini food/water stations. The 50 Mile run starts at 6:00 AM at Snoqualmie
Elementary, Snoqualmie WA. Both the 50 Mile and 50 Km runs finish at Snoqualmie
Elementary.
The course is on the Snoqualmie Valley Trail with some sections on country
roads. The course provides views of the Cascade foothills and the Snoqualmie and
Tolt Rivers. The 50 Mile course follows the Trail from the town of Snoqualmie
north to Carnation. After a loop on the Tolt River Road the 50 Mile runners will
be joined by the 50 Km runners and head south to North Bend. From North Bend the
runners go to Rattle Snake Lake where they turnaround and head back to the
finish at the high school. The Trail is old railroad grade. It has a gentle
grade and is generally wide. The steepest climb is from North Bend to Rattle
Snake Lake which is +450 feet over five miles.
There will be approximately 100 relay teams running the course simultaneously
with the Ultra runs. For additional Ultra information e-mail:
